L.E.A.D. Mentors Youth Through Baseball and the Safe at Home Game

Safe at Home Game co-founders and players had the honor of being interviewed by WABE‘s Closer Look host Rose Scott. Ms. Scott is an award-winning journalist. Through a myriad of interviews from foreign heads of states to U.S. cabinet members to state and local elected officials to civic and social leaders, Ms. Scott has turned Closer Look with Rose Scott into a signature broadcast for the community.
Safe at Home Game players (L.E.A.D. Ambassadors and APD Officers) and co-founders (L.E.A.D.’s CEO and Executive Director) feel right at home with Ms. Scott as you’ll hear in this interview. They readily share thoughts and dig deep to answer her questions about how their participation in the Safe at Home Game helps their interactions out in the community after the game which is now in its 5th year.
